Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SheetFill PDF is a UK-based digital software service. Privacy enquiries can be sent to support@sheetfillpdf.com.

Before launch: if SheetFill PDF is operated through a registered company or other legal entity, add the legal entity name, registered number (if applicable) and business/postal address here.

2. Information processed inside your browser

Your uploaded PDF templates, Excel/CSV spreadsheets, photos, custom fonts and generated PDFs are processed locally in your browser for the core document-generation workflow. They are not intentionally sent to SheetFill PDF's licence API.

3. Information we may receive

• Licence information: product key, licence status, activation/instance identifiers and related validation data needed to activate and verify paid access.
• Technical information: IP address, request time, browser/network metadata and security logs that may be processed by our hosting and security provider when your browser connects to the website or licence API.
• Support information: your email address and anything you choose to include when you contact support.
• Purchase information: payment, billing and order information is handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. We may receive order/customer information needed to administer your licence and support your purchase. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

4. Why we use personal information

We use personal information to provide and secure the service, activate and validate licences, prevent fraud/key sharing, respond to support requests, administer purchases and comply with legal obligations.

5. Lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract (providing your purchased licence and support), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention and service operation), and legal obligations (for example records we must retain).

6. Who we share information with

We use service providers needed to operate SheetFill PDF, including Cloudflare for website/API hosting, networking and security, and Lemon Squeezy for checkout, payments, tax handling, order administration and licence-related services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy arrangements.

7. International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used by those providers for international transfers.

8. How long we keep information

Licence and purchase administration records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide lifetime access, handle support, prevent fraud and meet legal/accounting obligations. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the request and related record-keeping. Browser-stored licence state remains on your device until it is cleared or removed.

9. Cookies and local storage

SheetFill PDF uses browser local storage for licence state and installation identifiers. We do not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers. Cloudflare or other essential infrastructure may use technical mechanisms needed for security and service delivery. If we later add non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated.

10. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to use of your personal information, and to data portability. You can contact us at support@sheetfillpdf.com to exercise a right.

11. Complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how your personal information is handled.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on sheetfillpdf.com with an updated date.
